OSSTEM continues to invest in and support the development of dental medicine worldwide as well as the implant clinical field. By 2007, this is expected to grow into a truly international symposium attended by more than 10,000 participants from countries all over the world including Korea.
OSSTEM pulls out all the stops when it comes to the OSSTEM meeting held every April. Dentists from all over the world gather in this symposium to share clinical knowledge and skills regarding OSSTEM implant. A total of 6,500 participants attended the symposium in 200 this figure almost doubled in 2007 12,000 participants including approximately 400 overseas attendees. Every year, various implant surgeries live broadcast never fail to earn credibility from participants. Indeed, the OSSTEM meeting is fast taking root as a world-class implant scientific event as well as a venue for information exchange and meeting of the minds of the world's top dentists.
OSSTEM plans to hold the international symposium simply dubbed "OSSTEM Meeting" every April to improve the implants clinical knowledge of all dental surgeons worldwide. In the future, the company hopes to hold the "OSSTEM Meeting" in all the latest implant clinical knowledge among dentist in each country.
All the lectures including 46 general dental topics, 5 live surgeries, 14 lectures for staff, 3 lectures for hygienist and 116 poster presentations were proceeded successfully by 70 National implants speakers.
A total of 70 international implants clinical experts served as main lecturers, presenting the latest implants trends and clinical know-how during the symposium, which was heralded as an international scientific events. Top implants clinical experts also shared clinical knowledge and information on various surgical techniques and possible post-surgery side effects and solutions.
During the process of live surgery as the highlight of this symposium, 4 well known Korean dentists including Dr. Cho, Yong-Seok performed implant surgeries that were live broadcast through the optical cable installed at the lecture hall. In particular, the highly complex surgeries shown in real time through video accompanied by detailed explanations earned raves from the participants, making them feel as if they were in the actual operating room directly witnessing the implant surgeries.
